Although it may be delicious in taste, junk food is not as good for your body as it tastes. Candy, cakes, cookies, soda, fast food and fried foods like french fries are all different types of junk food. It is okay to have these types of foods on occasion, but junk foods should not be a major part of your diet. If it is a major part of your diet, the chances of life threatening diseases and physical complications increases. Many junk foods are high in sugar, carbohydrates, fats and oils, and low on nutrition and healthy elements. If consumed in high quantities of your lifetime, you will be at risk for high blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes, stroke, other health complications and even death.
